I worked with them for 4 years. I have never seen such a despicable company as Northern Lights Fitness Products Inc. Do you know that Fitness Depot stores belong to them?They import brand and product from China. Sell them as high quality devices and do not give guarantees to which customers have paid. I have seen customers wait more than a year to receive a simple parts. But most of the time it puts the customer in waiting to receive a service but they are never sending the parts to the repairer.
Love their products! They are well-built and I've never had an issue with their products. For the price you cannot go wrong. Plus you are supporting a Canadian company! What's not to love
This review is about the service I received compared to Fitness Depot in Ottawa.. to start i called Fitness Depot in Ottawa they said they would call me back in a couple hours or so I waited two weeks no call I called back and they gave me the number for Northern Lights so I called them on Friday they directed me to their online purchases through telephone and I made my order and it was now ready today "monday"I got the email and I'm going to pick it up tomorrow in the morning.. Thanks Northern Lights you guys are the best and i can't wait to get your product in my basement and put it to the test!! :) :)
I bought an awesome rowing machine from this company and within 6 months it stopped working properly and I was really disappointed. I was informed about the year warranty but was not informed that it only covered the cost of the part and not the labor for commercial gyms. I had two customer service women who were extremely rude to me when I expressed this confusion and were treating me like I was a nuisance. Probably never buying from this company again.
Northern Lights are the worst company. Their earlier version bench used a pin that was a major hazard waiting to happen. You could partially put the bench in the incline positions without properly having the pin inserted and the bench will semi-support you. Once you get a hold of some weight, you'll slam down at full speed from an incline to a full decline and seriously injure yourself while having a pile of weight in your hands. Tell the company about it and they just ignore you like you're nothing. They know this bench should have been re-called when it first came out. If you've been injured by their products, or find a major flaw that compromises your safety through their negligence, your best course if action is to lawyer up. They could care less about your misfortune unless money is involved. Avoid them at all costs.
