Friendly staff and good rates
It's been a little over a year since I left Allstate. I started off paying a pretty high rate for a 700sq ft house around $130 a month mainly because I had an oil furnace. The following year in 2015 I upgraded to natural gas and my rate dropped down to $100 for a month. A month later my rate jumped back up to $130 a month and when I called them to ask what was going on they said there was nothing they could do and the rates were the rates. Fast forward a week later when I get another letter in the mail stating that my rates were going up to $140. They gave me no options and were absolutely unwilling to justify why my rates were going up after having dropped for a month after a major renovation to lower my insurance. I felt like I was being taken advantage of because I was a first time homebuyer and young. I would not recommend this company to anyone there are so many better options out there.
Will never get any business from me again.
I lost my wife on june 28th 2017 in an accident that we are not at fault for I have serious injuries.This insurance company Allstate is now trying to get me to pay approximately 25% more upon renewal.They told me it was due to industry standards.I now have one less driver in my household.I now have one less vehicle in my possession.I now have no more business milage.They essentially have me paying the accident that took my wifes life my work van and my business.
Horrible customer service, auto insurance rates going up without reason. I called to get a better rate or to cancel because I've received a better quote from another company and it's been 9 days and counting without any reply from my Allstate broker
